About Kyudo
Kyudo (弓道), literly "way of the bow", is the Japanese martial art of archery. It originated with the samurai class of feudal Japan and is practised by thousands of people worldwide.
About Us
The Club is a member of the All South Africa Kyudo Federation, which is recognized by the International Kyudo Federation as South Africa's Kyudo representitive. You can follow us on facebook for news and updates.
What You Need
Kyudo equipments are not more expensive than the counterparts of western archery, but they are less accessible outside of Japan. The club has some spare equipments for any newcomers to try, but eventually you would need to buy at least a bow, a glove, and a few arrows once committed.
